That one has come up here in the past several times, I was going to
suggest it but work got in the way :-)

Found a program from a small software company that did the trick.

The company is JRTwine Software, LLC.  The product is Delete FXP Files.
I used the Classic version, but they have a new version out too.

  Try "DIR /A" and/or "ATTRIB".

  Or "ls.exe" from http://unxutils.sf.net or SFU.
