When I'm tracking down a specific machine and have SNMP enabled switches in the area, I use my handy dandy SolarWinds tool SwitchPort Mapper. It lets me know what is on each and every port of an SNMP enabled switch. You can probably download the trial version of their engineers toolset if you can't find anything else to use.
