If you enable Metabase Auditing, then you'll get events logged when IIS configuration changes: http://www.adopenstatic.com/faq/IISMetabaseAuditing.aspx

One of the extensions that was disabled as asp.net V2.0.50727. Now, I know that our website is an asp.net website, so on a hunch, I re-enabled that and that fixed it… However, I’m at a loss as to how it got disabled… I’m about the only one who ever logs onto that machine and now I’m scratching my head. I did do a windows update last night…. Any ideas what would have caused that ONE extension to be disabled? ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
