+1 And I too, usually was owed money. I always said if I owe, I'll send my check on the 12th. This year I owed....
THEN I decided I wanted that obligation off my head now. It was like an itch and it got annoying. Sure I could have banked the money for 2 months and made $12 or something....but it is worth $12 knowing I didn't have to cough up the money later.
