Generally speaking unless you've got a special app that needs a specific driver, I'd encourage the OP to use this migration as an opportunity to update drivers to current builds and hopefully increase stability as a result.

You are probably correct about having issues with the 32-bit drivers trying to migrate to a 64-bit system. Server 2008 supports 32-bit drivers but require the 64-bit version first. So I think you may have to re-install these from scratch this time. -David On Mon, Apr 6, 2009 at 1:45 PM, Terri Esham <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: Has anyone successfully migrated printers from Windows 2003 Server 32Bit to Windows 2008 Server 64Bit? If so would you please share how you did it? I tried to use Windows 2008's Printer Migration Wizard and the majority of the printers failed. I'm assuming because of a 64 bit driver issue. It is my understanding that the Print Migrator 3.1 doesn't work with Windows 2008. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
