We use them for temperature sensors. Pretty inexpensive for what youre looking for ($350 for the base unit and $195 for the sensor.) - Andy O. ________________________________________ From: David Lum [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, April 10, 2009 10:33 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: Server room flood detection So .lets say you have a server room on the 2nd floor, and the 3rd floor kitchen directly above has some issue where a pipe breaks. How do you guys detect the water issue if this event happens at say 2am? We had a filter break in our kitchen and it flooded a few offices below. If it had been our server room below we would have been screwed, so Im wondering how we could detect this kind of issue.
