I use Ninja as another layer after the SpamBlocker on my Watchguard firewall drops the most gratuitous stuff. The latest 2007 version fixed a lot of bugs and is finally as good as the 2003 version. For a low-volume site (<5000 legit messages/day) it works pretty well at a low cost. For higher-volume sites, I would definitely recommend an appliance.
