Do you mean connecting to \\servername\share<file:///\\servername\share>? That works regardless of whether you have AD or not. If you are talking about printers that are published into AD by a print server, all that is created is a printQueue object (you can view these easily using ADSIEdit or similar) that points the client to \\servername\share<file:///\\servername\share> Cheers Ken
