My research on the Dell Docking stations is that they disable the laptop display connection or the laptop monitor, stil leaving only two monitors. Talking with my rep in my last round of buys, the E6500 does allow for three monitors, with their docking station. I may trial it on the next equipment purchase, next year is the biggest one in our cycle.
