Sorry to go OT but what VDI appliances are you looking at? Pano or something
else? I'm thinking about purchasing the Pano test kit but am looking for a
couple other options to test as well.

Shame - I can't find the resource to deploy a 2008 DC just yet, what with our
new housing system going live and VDI approaching rapidly over the horizon

If you have one 2008 DC you have preferences, but I have not played with them
yet.

Instead of using a custom AD attribute, what about GP Preferences? I
rid myself of a logon script completely by using GPP. WS2k3 Domain, XP clients

        Subject: Custom AD attribute question

We are in the middle of cutting down our reliance on AppSense and as
such have had to come up with new ways of mapping drives, printers, deploying
shortcuts, etc. We have deployed drive mappings via AD group memberships using
a custom AD attribute assigned to the group. However, for our helpdesk staff,
using ADSI Editor to change the attributes of the group (if necessary) is a
little daunting. Is there any way that you can create some sort of extension to
ADUC to modify a custom attribute? Or does anyone have any other way of
modifying this without using ADSI Editor? i was sure I read an article once
relating to it, but my Googling appears to be weak today (must be the heat in
here)

        TIA,
