Poke around on the vmware forums there are tons of articles referring to
using ts in a vm. There are several things that are done differently. The
way ram is allocated, and some other tweaks in the registry that help with
overall performance. Back in the esx2.x days there was an actual 'option'
for a terminal server in the o/s choices.  That's gone now, but I think a
lot of the tweaks still remain.
