We use ZetaFax here with two Brooktrout TR1034 (4 port) boards, installed on a Windows Server 2003 box. We don't get as many faxes or send out as many, but have found that ZetaFax works for our environment. There are plug-ins that you can install for MS Office that will allow you to create a fax and send it out from each client.

I don't know how they compare with other solutions, but I was always impressed with their customer and tech support. It has been a few years since I've worked with it however.
