Check your fans, also. Could be a bad fan, causing temp increase, causing shutdown. I had that happen a couple of years ago.

Have you looked at the System Management Homepage and its log pages? -----Original Message----- From: Andy Shook [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, June 18, 2009 4:29 PM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: HP DL360 G5 random shutdown Yo. Got the above mentioned server shutting down at random. Nothing in the OS logs (Windows 2003 R2 std.) or in the HP mgmt utility. Instincts tell me hardware but how to track this down within the HP management utility, which is all good\green, is foreign to this Dell guy. Lastly, I did take this opportunity to apply the latest support paq. Any pointers, as I have resorted to pointing and clicking at this time?
