And what do you do about the fact that the server is out of warranty and getting parts for it will be a challenge?

Recently I picked up an older HP Netserver LH3. It has several Ultra 2 SCSI drives in it. Can I put in U3 or U160 drives and have them work? I know they are more expensive but I have several on hand with out a home.
