We haven't started testing Windows 7 here yet, but I setup the KMS
infrastructure for our 2008 serves, so here is a guess. What Product Group
KMS key did you install (A, B, or C)? My guess is that there will be a new
KMS key that includes Windows 7 coming out soon, if one is not already
available. Do you have a TAM? He/she should be able to answer this
question for you very quickly.

activation work?

Here's my scenario:

My company is a MS Gold Partner and our folks who manage that account
logged in, downloaded the RC builds which for us included Enterprise
Edition, which is the version I'm currently running.

I've been through the public Windows 7 RC process which appears to
work differently - where you register with MS, get an ISO and a key
that unlocks Ultimate edition and allows online activation.

My current Enteprise Edition RC is trying to activate online and
failing. I figured I would need to point it to a KMS server; hence the
question.

Is anyone else running into this scenario?
