Never worked for me.  I always had to reset to factory defaults and then
set everything back up.

well, they do have an option to save the configuration to a file, so it
can be uploaded/reloaded at a later date ... maybe everyone who hasn't
yet should save a version ...

This has happened to me a handful of times. I just tossed it up to being
a "bad" router......up until now.

 

Thankfully, it only takes a minute to reconfigure.
