Coincidentally, I had a recently purchased WRT54GL w/ DD-WRT v24 sp1 reset to defaults on me on Friday. I just got finished setting it up as a VPN gateway, ran out to the owners place to get him set up and had to come back because I couldn't get to the office network at all. I came back to defaults. Hadn't backed up the config yet. Grr. A couple employees were monkying around in the closet when I got there and none would fess up to pressing the reset button, but I don't know how else it could have happened.
