Without thinking very hard, I built out a new non-Dell PC for a managing partner, but used a Dell reinstall XPSP3 disk. We have volume licensing for XP, so the actual authentication key is no problem -- but after all the installation, activation won't work and the MS system appears to believe the installation media is not genuine. So, I can't even get to a person to explain the issue to get a phone activation. Is there anything I can do short of a complete reinstall to fix this? Thanks, -- David
