We recently acquired a brother mfc device, primarily to replace the fax, but it's got a sheetfeed scanner (flatbed too). Ethernet nic as well. I think it was only about $150 and the office employees are loving it. I'm being a roadwarrior at the moment but once in the office I can tell you the model number.
