What about converting the existing wsus partition to dynamic and 
allocating the extra 20gig to it as you need it?

I skipped the "Express installation files", and the 20 Gb WSUS volume is 
indeed on a _separate_ volume from the OS.  (That's what led me to 
building this, my second WSUS, several years back.)
