There used to be a tool called cpustres or cpustress I the Platform SDK which could max out CPUs but I don't see it in the version I have. Does anyone here have any decent stress test tools? When we get a new server we like to soak test it on the bench for a couple of days, but what Id like to do is run some tests on it that stress the CPU, Memory, HDD's etc... Does anyone do this, and if so what do you use? Iv looked at UBCD, but it has too many things on it really, Id like something I can boot the server with and it just gets on with it, it would be handy if it runs inside Windows as well as being a boot disk. -- Gavin Wilby.
