Errrmmm, do you mind if I ask specifically about your troubles with BE12.5? I've been very seriously considering moving to it, though I haven't installed the 60 day demo yet. I kinda figgered it would pretty much work in my fairly simple environment. It'd be nice to know the major gotchas.
