Ok, my inner pedant is coming out.
In the sentence "The used car sales really gave him the Shook."  Shook is
the object of the verb gave, objects by definition are nouns.  To use as a
verb, you could say "The used car salesman Shooked him real good."  Or "Look
at that used care salesman shooking him real good."  Like many words in the
english language you can use them as nouns and verbs and other parts of
speech interchangeably with just a few small changes to the root word.  To
wit:

Do you really think you can Shook me like that and get away with it? [verb]
See that poor Shook over there?. [noun]
Get that Shooking thing away from me, I don't know where it's been.
[adjective]
He Shookily emailed me and I was quite disturbed.. [adverb]
Shook!  That's nasty! [interjection]

It's not quite as versatile as another word you may know about or even use
regularly, but you get the idea.  I don't think you could use Shook as a
preoposition, conjuntion and certainly not a pronoun.
