I consider Shook to be more of a verb than a noun (as in, “The price of gas
went up today and really made me feel like I’d been Shooked.” Or “The used car
salesman really gave him the Shook.”).

Hey now, the Marines may go in first but they wouldn’t hold the ground
without the Army coming in behind them!

I think that was actually someone in the Army or Navy.

We don't have time to change the channel.

 change the channel.

      Luke,

Understanding that you might be able to use a computer and maybe even
help load a bomb or two on a plane. I have to ask who it is that is 'lighting
up' the target for ya'. I think it is a forward observer. You know those dumb
jarheads that are catching bullets for you flyboys to sleep tight every night.

You might think we can't operate a computer but if you think about it
they all make good tire blocks for the jets...

      :-)

The U.S. Marine Corps has slapped an immediate ban on the use of
social networking sites on its network, warning that sites like Facebook,
MySpace and Twitter are a “proven haven for malicious hackers and content.”

The ban, contained in an order issued Monday, will last for a year.
It specifically mentions Facebook, Twitter and MySpace although it applies to
what is described as “Web-based services that allows communities of people to
share common interests.”
