They're logging into their notebooks with cached credentials, then
making the VPN connection, then running the batch file to map their
drives.  For most users, it works fine.  For about 25% the drives DO
map but don't show as available in My Computer until forcing a manual
connection from the run line.

And for some users I've had to add the /user=username switch to the
net use command to even get the drives to map at all.
