That is correct. Although the TechNet and MSDN setups should not require a key during install either. It is all about the key you enter after install (or during install if you are using WIM files and MDT2010) for activation. If you have a volume license of any type you will have your volume MAK/KMS keys to use for activation which Microsoft then tracks for number of licenses in use. Tim

With software downloaded through MVLS, it does not ask for a key during the install, but you do have to enter one after the install is complete to make it "genuine". I believe it will start to prompt you for it after 3 days. Don Guyer Systems Engineer - Information Services Prudential, Fox & Roach/Trident Group 431 W. For Vista images obtained through eOpen for an "Open Business" agreement, I've found that the installer refuses OEM Product Keys. I assumed I'd have trouble if I did the install without a Product Key and then tried to enter it post-install. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
