It will house servers and possibly a disk array. Is that considered medium density? We already have some APC metered PDU's (AP7830's) on a 16KVA Symettra UPS. They are "0U' PDU's, which I suppose is a standard for PDU's. I want to mount two of these PDU's per rack, as we use redundant power supplies in our servers. Should they be mounted on either side, in the rear? Dell offers a "Versa Rail" so the server can be slid like a drawer, while keeping the cables managed. Is that worth it? I would think that we should use APC accessories with APC racks, and Dell acc's with Dell racks. Do you like APC over Dell? Other players? We will start with one rack, and possibly add to that in a year as tower servers are retired. This is in a dedicated, locked room with dedicated A/C. No raised floor though. I have seen plenty of APC racks in the field, but no Dell, maybe I have the answer...
