Yes. Currently supports two real users, and a bunch of other users for testing purposes.
The lab I carry around with me is much larger (almost 40 VMs), but doesn't have the advantage of running 24x7 or being able to be run all at the same time. Absolutely agree with the post that IT would be easier if there weren't any users. But users (and their requirements) are what makes IT interesting :-) I'm thinking of adding a QNAP NAS (SS-439). They seem like a neat little unit. Small/quiet and a bunch of features (iSCSI target is what I'm most interested in). Anyone have experience with these devices? http://www.qnap.com/pro_detail_feature.asp?p_id=120 Cheers Ken -----Original Message----- From: Sean Rector [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday, 5 September 2009 10:20 PM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: RE: SPAM Solution That's your home network? Another option for an "in the cloud" solution is Postini by Google Message Security. Last fall I switched two networks to it at just $3/user/year for inbound filtering. It's been nearly perfect but I don't know if they still offer that same minimal service at that price. You might want to check out UnTangle (http://www.untangle.com/home). It's not too difficult to install and will probably meet your client's needs for the cost of a spare PC.
