I will say I had sticker shock when I went to the Tripplite website to look at ‘em… but then I went to Froogle and found them *much* more affordable! J

From: John Aldrich [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, September 30, 2009 11:31 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: Semi-on-topic: USB to Serial adapters Anyone got a recommendation for a good USB to Serial adapter? I’ve gotten two from Radio Shack. One worked fine, the other was junk. Supposedly the same thing, but only one worked for what I needed. What I want to do is hook up both my AS/400 console cable and my firewall cable at the same time. Both require a serial port and my PC only has one serial port. I believe I probably need something with a 16550AFN UART so I can do hardware flow control.
