I am not a GIS guy, but "geocoding" has to do with associating
geographic coordinates with addresses.  It doesn't have anything to do
with Google specifically.  Sounds more like an internal failure of their
GIS system (fixed by now, I'm sure).

        A user of ours is using a map site (ie google maps) and is

        When I go into our firewall the site isn't blocked.  I've
cleaned out the Internet Temp files and cookies on the user's computer
