When I go to the site on my computer, I can search the map without an issue. However when on the user's computer it doesn't. The only difference between my computer and theirs would be the firewall rules. Have checked the firewall and don't see anything that would be stopping this from working. Also, when on the user's computer, you can go to maps.google.com and everything works without an issue.
The site that we are having problems with is maps.concentra.com/CorporateV3/ _____________________________ Cameron Cooper IT Director - CompTIA A+ Certified Aurico Reports, Inc Phone: 847-890-4021 Fax: 847-255-1896 [email protected] From: Mayo, Bill [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, November 12, 2009 7:51 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: RE: geocoding error I am not a GIS guy, but "geocoding" has to do with associating geographic coordinates with addresses. Sounds more like an internal failure of their GIS system (fixed by now, I'm sure). ________________________________ From: James Rankin [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, November 11, 2009 10:13 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: Re: geocoding error Geocoding appears to be some sort of Google code... http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/geocoding/ 2009/11/11 Cameron Cooper <[email protected]> A user of ours is using a map site (ie google maps) and is receiving the following error: When I go into our firewall the site isn't blocked. I've cleaned out the Internet Temp files and cookies on the user's computer and they still have the same issue above.
