Then dedinatly use the 110 block. This is a perfect use for it. If you
have never used it before, have somebody show you how to do the
termination, as it's not immediatly obvious with the block,
terminators and wiring tools.
Other options include moving your IDF to the floor, using wiring
blocks and patch cables, and of corse the whole re-running of cables.
Good luck!

New facility. The electricians ran wire to a location on the third

they did that, something to do with getting an inspection done.
Makes a lot more work for me and the phone guys. Yeah, there is a
least as many phone cables as well but I'm not dealing with that
aspect.

Thinking more on this... Why would you need to connect 50 to 50 cat
5? I'm guessing something was cut?
How hard would it be to re-run the wires? This is a better solution,
obviously... but also difficult if the wires all run in different
directions.
Can you run wires in bulk, say 25-pair cat5e lines?
Just some thoughts...

Ah, the good old 110 wiring block.
Yes, I would use that style of connector. I would actually use two
of them,
one for each termination of a wire. Then I would connect them using
these:

Hope that helps!
