For print servers, I tend to like to either statically assign the printer, or use DHCP reservations, then instead of tracking the IP numbers by hand or in a spreadsheet somewhere, I make DNS A records for the printer. Not can you just open up dnsmgmt.msc to see the assignment of IP-to-Printer, setup is easy when you want a workstation to print directly to the printer versus going through an AD printer object.
