We did a little testing with BPS about 8 months ago, at that time you
could get the server software and a one user license free from the
Blackberry website, then just had to pay for additional licenses, $50 or
so if I remember correctly.  However, I don't think the basic
requirements for Exchange, Domino, etc. change from BES.  We were
testing with Exchange so didn't have any need to research POP support
but I doubt it's there.

It won't. BES requires Exchange, Domino, etc. If you just have everyone
hitting POP, you might be able to use BPS to help..

Anyone here got some idea what a BES server would cost, including the
hardware, software and licenses for Blackberry? Note, we do NOT have our
own email server at this time, and our email is all POP3. Not sure how
