The previous version of Forefront requires a full copy of SQL to function
like the SAV, etc consoles do.  It did work but I have not worked with the
current version.  It was a smaller footprint than either of your current
choices and I personally think it would catch more than either of them.  The
console was not as full featured (previous version) as any of the other
named versions.  If money was no object then either Vipre or the eEye
counter part, depending on what you want it to do.  Both of your current
choices will make major work for you down the road and will not catch as
much as Forefront, Vipre, or eEye.
