Dot matrix ribbons cycle through multiple times before they're worn out. Getting forensic information off a ribbon that's seen multiple passes would be nearly impossible, I'd think. So I was wondering how many of you out there are still using Dot Matrix printers? And.. If you are using them, what are you doing w/ the used ribbons when they are replaced? Is it feasible that someone could unwind a used ribbon and pull the information off of it? Like the old days of typewriters...I remember some college students going through the trash to get the used typewriter ribbon, go through it and ace their tests. LOL But seriously... . . ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
