Coppertop -- is me. :) Name is Tammy Stewart. Thanks for all the kind words. I don't post much here but pick up on alot. :) Awsome group of people here. I recall working with some of you. tuck some emails away on issues I have personally run into for reminders. (yes I am a digital packrat)
Nope -- not a redhead but how I got the name "coppertop" is in town where I live one of my friends noted I don't quit (I always worked lots) --- so named me after the duracell battery. :) Name just sorta stuck. I still work for Sunbelt (as a consultant) removing whatever bad stuff I come across & I can't begin to tell ya'll how good it is on the 'inside' working with all these folks. Been there for what will be 5 years at end of month. And OH MY! has the team grown over the last few years! Still work from home (as a consultant) but do everything remotly. Email, phone, remote sessions. Whatever it takes. And love every minute of it. This all started out as a hobby working as a volunteer in several security forums helping people remove malware infections & educating them on better practices. Have several test boxes set up & infect them on a regular basis to see how this new junk ticks. My hobby is now my job :) There are several of us working now in malware removal & all are great to work with. Everyone works as a great team. Yanno? That is what makes VIPRE work. The teamwork right from the "top guy" down to the new guy just hired. Like every other AV company out there we've had our "rough spots" but it always works out for the good. Nothing makes me more happy than to find a new malware, figure out where it lives, how its loading & wack it dead & hand over the findings to our defs/research team to make VIPRE wack it dead. Battery of tests == another deep scan with Vipre to ensure no new junkies turn up. Check the browsers don't redirect Test run the box to see that everything runs as expected. Malwarebytes run to see if it picks up on anything additional Another set of OTViewIt/Gmer logs .... Test may include doing other things depending on what was found in the first place. Anyway -- good time as any to say Hello All & happy to be a member of this list. ~~waves~~ ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
