We're looking at Vipre, Nod32, Sophos and Kapersky to replace McAfee. Fortunately we're finally phasing out the last of the underpowered workstations.
At the moment it's going to be down to how we feel about the console and managing an enterprise. To stay on topic, however, Nod32 definitely uses few resources than McAfee. -----Original Message----- From: Charlie Kaiser [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, May 06, 2010 10:46 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: RE: NOD32 Antivirus I run NOD32 managed on a few clients and Symantec on others (not by choice). NOD32 uses less than 10% of the resources that Symantec does. No infections so far in the 18 months or so that I've been using it. I really want to replace all my Symantec clients with NOD32. *********************** Charlie Kaiser [email protected] Kingman, AZ *********************** > -----Original Message----- > From: Jim Dandy [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Thursday, May 06, 2010 10:16 AM > To: NT System Admin Issues > Subject: NOD32 Antivirus > > I'm interested in hearing feedback on NOD32 antivirus.
