Something you may want to try is to put a switch on the outside of your 
firewall, so that you can plug in a PC, to be able to test as if you're coming 
in from the outside.  I had this setup in my last job, and it was very helpful.

when I try the internal address, everything works fine.
the issue is trying (from inside the network --which may be the issue) the
public ipaddress.  the web interface lets me login but when I try to launch
an app Citrix just gets stuck on trying to connect....

I may have to try it from the outside world
