and then only from the vendor that I purchased the hardware from in the
first place.  In the past I found that both Dell and HP like to modify the
standard hardware in some manner.  The supposed vendor of the hardware, say
nVida, then offers drivers that do not work as well as the ones from the
seller of the hardware.  I have used Dell drivers offered by WU with out any
issue on Dells.  I don't remember seeing any from HP on the WU site but it
has been a while since I last had my hands on any HP hardware.  The Geek
Squad is good at selling their services to those that purchase from BestBuy
and they have contracts that prevent, at least that is how I read them,
outsiders touching a machine they are contracted to keep working.
