Ok. I got it working, but why is Vista such a PITA to print on a different port locally than the physical port on the computer the remote printer is connected to?

The Vista machine is a replacement for an XP machine that just wore out. The XP machine used to have LPT2 mapped to LPT1 on another XP machine and I tried re-doing the mapping in Vista, and it *says* it's working, but when I try to print from the application, it shows an error in the printer pool. L How do I fix this? John-AldrichTile-Tools ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
