If that other sysadmin was on this list, that was me. :) Pure coincidence. Someone was complaining about crappy help desks and software, which naturally made me think of Thermwood. > Hey, what CAM ware do you guys use? If you say Mastercam (like me) > I think I'll puke... Get a barf bag ready then. The CNC guys use MasterCAM, yah. Also Rhino3D, AutoCAD, Alibre Design, and Verisurf, but mainly MasterCAM. What a wonderful piece of software that is. Best thing I can say about it is that it's not as bad as Thermwood's software. It's been fun working out a proper set of file permissions to let the users run it without enabling write to the entire set of program binaries. I'm not a CAD/CAM/CNC guy. I'm just the poor schmuck who has to deal with all the integration issues. Plus IT seems to inherit some issues just because it has a PC inside it. Or near it. Or if it uses electricity. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
