I guess that could be coined virtual Ethernet since they are connecting me to a cisco catalyst switch with an Ethernet handoff. I leaned away from MPLS due to latency, non control and this MPLS 2.5 which is really vpn based MPLS. Oh yah and the price was 10k more per month for it ...
