Well, it's been brought to the CFO's attention. He's my direct supervisor and I think he took my concerns seriously. That being said, if we get sued and the complainant's attorney wants ediscovery, he'll have a lot of PST files to go through and maybe Management will think better of not having a company policy on email retention. All I can do is make management aware of my concerns. At this point I have made my concerns clear to two members of management, one of whom is the CFO. Neither has dismissed this as nothing to be concerned about, so hopefully they'll give this problem serious consideration.
