You can increase the limit on those UNICODE PST files if you want to -
20GB is just the default.

Subject: Compact PST files

I have a customer with a Terminal server and the users on this are not
able to compact their PST's as the functionality is not included in the
Outlook on the TS machine. One user 20GB pst and can no longer use it
and I have had to create a second PST unitl I can find a way to compact
the PST's on the server.

Wondering if anyone is using a 3rd party tool to compact PST files and
would recommend it.
