All, Our UK office has acquired a new Cisco 857 to replace a Netgear router for their DSL line.
I've got it hooked up via a console cable to a server in the UK office, so I'm in the box, and can provide current config if needed. I haven't dealt with a Cisco box in years, and never with one that does PPP over ATM, so I'm floundering a bit. I need it to do the following: The ADSL link hands out addresses via DHCP, but we've got a /29 to use from BT for our firewall. I've got the PPP login and password, and the VC paramaters (VPI=0, VCI=38) The router should provide no firewalling, and no NAT - the Sidewinder I have on site does of that. I've been looking at various configurations - the manual (which seems to have an error in it, regarding MTU size), web pages all over the place, but am just fogging my brain with them. Can anyone point me to a config that does that?
