  The fact that overall costs are lowered doesn't mean that the
high-end customer isn't picking up a bigger piece of the cost.  Now,
maybe it's a net win, i.e., cost savings are so big that the price to
the high-end customer is lower than it would be without this
technique.

  Oh, certainly, with AMD not doing this, it's a much different
situation than if they both are.  It will be interesting to see how
this plays out, either way.
