I've used Google's Postini mail filtering service very successfully in two environments. I found it cumbersome to setup initially but very effective and hands-off once configured. Users receive daily quarantine summaries and can easily tweak their individual approved/blocked lists. I selected inbound filtering only for just $3 per user per year (!) and Google has continued to renew at that rate for our church. The other company is no longer in business.
