I see that the upgrade is $139 from MS to go from home premium to ultimate, pretty pricey but that maybe the route we have to go.

My mother in law had trouble with this as the Dell outlet computer we bought for her came loaded with Vista Ultimate. I assume this restriction will be the case for future OS upgrades as well. It may or may not be relevant, but it is something that might bubble up in some cases. Problem with laptop is she doesnt speak English and its Win7 in English as it was bought here.
