Computer 1 (primary):

1. Share the My Documents folder

Computer 2 (secondary):

1. Map a drive letter to the My Documents share on Computer 1.

2. Redirect My Documents to the mapped drive.

3. Make the mapped drive "always available offline".

He just wants to sync two folders between two computers?

Funny, I think robocopy and synctoy will be your 1st and 2nd choice.

Other ideas:
DFS-R (on 2 servers)
something like Dropbox

What is he trying to accomplish?
